This blog is maintained by me, Linda Cook, the creator of VitalityCheck, a daily journal for tracking diet, exercise and sleep. I created VitalityCheck to simplify the process of losing weight in support of people who want to do it their own way. I was inspired to create it in 2005 after purchasing the journal that accompanied Bob Greene’s diet…I thought I was purchasing a Body for Life journal - I got confused at the bookstore because I was in a hurry and, to me, their books looked very similar. Nonetheless, I found it to be too big to carry with me so I decided to create a food diary the size of a checkbook. The printer I took it to convinced me to make it available to others.
